J.J. is a Filipino-Hawaiian Writer-Director from Northern California.  He received his Bachelors in Digital Film and Video Production in 2015, graduated as the Valedictorian of his class, and crewed in almost every position on set.  He has written, produced, directed, and/or edited over two dozen short films, feature films, commercials, promo videos, and music videos.

As a veteran and former instructor, J.J. is drawn toward leadership with an eye on the "big picture".  With a sense for finding quick and forward-thinking solutions, he continues to build his career as an independent filmmaker with a strong focus on world building and story cohesiveness.
